Different browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari already support this standard version, more over this is also supported by Android 9.0 Pie. In order to get WebAuthn compliancy, there is no need to get new software or devices.

Password-Free:
Now you don’t need to remember that long list of passwords which irritates you. To make the web password free, WebAuthn is the W3C’s step. This API allows the users to sing into their online accounts using unique fingerprint verification, mobile devices which are connected with nearby Bluetooth, by sending code to your phone, or using FIDO key.

WebAuthn, as an API, will create bridge between the website users who want to log in their online accounts and the devices they choose to log in with.

More Secure:
As our lives are managed online, there is ample need to get rid of remembering password. People are eager to protect their accounts with hassle-free sources.

If it comes into your mind that implementation of WebAuthn will create security issues, then you need to think opposite. WebAuthn is painting more secure and better internet future. This eliminates the risk of password theft and risks of phishing.
